Cajun Turkey Rub Recipe

This Cajun turkey rub recipe gives a little heat to your turkey or chicken. The Cajun rub can be used on all poultry. This recipe makes about a cup.

Note: When rubbing poultry try to get the mix under the skin as skin blocks the flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup of onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of ground oregano

Mix the ingredients and season the turkey, don’t forget the inside. Let is sit for 2 hours and you’re good to go!
